The Beautiful Paddy out Walking in Goring

West Berks Pet and canine Services

Are you looking for responsible and caring person to look after your pets? You’re in the right place! I’ve always been an animal owner and love all animals, big and small. I can offer safe, reliable and beneficial walks and care for your pets.

About Me

Since I was young I’ve loved animals — both learning about and taking care of them. I have 2 dogs, three cats and two horses of my own but it's never enough. So I retrained in dog behaviour, training and welfare and started West Berks Pet and Canine Services so I could turn this love into a career. Over the years it has been such fun and I haven't had a single moment of regret about starting this business.

Current Litter – Summer 2026

We are delighted to introduce our first licensed Labrador Retriever litter.

Born on 4th June 2026, this beautiful litter consists of nine healthy puppies – six black and three yellow/fox-red. Mum and puppies are all thriving, with the puppies being raised in our family home with the highest standards of care, socialisation, and welfare.

This litter is particularly special to us, as it represents the beginning of our breeding journey and the foundation of our future Labrador lines. Our aim is to breed healthy, well-tempered Labradors that make wonderful family companions, working dogs, and lifelong friends.

The puppies are being raised under our West Berkshire Council breeding licence and benefit from:

  • Kennel Club registration

  • Comprehensive health-tested parents

  • Regular weight and health monitoring

  • Early neurological and environmental enrichment

  • Ongoing socialisation within a family environment

  • Veterinary health checks

  • Microchipping before leaving

  • Lifetime breeder support

We are passionate about responsible breeding and giving every puppy the very best start in life. From birth onwards, each puppy is carefully monitored and handled daily to help develop confident, happy, well-adjusted dogs.

Our puppies will be ready to leave for their new homes at around eight weeks of age, following their health checks and microchipping.

If you are interested in a future litter, we are always happy to discuss our breeding plans, answer questions, and help prospective owners decide whether a Labrador is the right breed for them.

As the only licensed Labrador breeder in West Berkshire, we are proud to offer a transparent, responsible breeding programme focused on health, temperament, welfare, and lifelong support for both our puppies and their families.

Polly (our dog) can be a bit nervous with new people but Steph has such a lovely, friendly manner, she took to her straight away. On both occasions, Polly came back from her walk happy and tuckered out. I would happily ask Steph to check in on all our animals if we went away for a weekend, as I know they’d be well looked after. :)Would recommend: Yes
